Manama:Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, the Minister of Health, chaired the fifth meeting of the National Taskforce for the Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases, with participation from members representing relevant authorities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Health Minister stressed the importance of continuing to strengthen and integrate national efforts to monitor and combat communicable diseases. She emphasized the need for regular reviews and development of preventive and precautionary plans, along with updating health programs and policies to align with emerging developments, thereby enhancing health security in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The meeting also included a review of efforts aimed at limiting the spread of communicable diseases and ensuring the protection of public health and safety.
