Manama:The 23rd preparatory meeting of the Supreme Military Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) took place today at the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). The meeting was chaired by Major General Ghanem Ibrahim Al Fadhala, Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting saw attendance from assistant chiefs of staff for operations from the armed forces of the GCC member states. Major General Salman Ibrahim Al Fadhala, Assistant Secretary-General for Military Affairs at the GCC General Secretariat, and a representative of the GCC Unified Military Command also participated.
The committee focused on agenda items that aim to enhance defense integration and military cooperation among the armed forces of the GCC member states. The outcomes of this meeting are set to be submitted to the chiefs of staff of the GCC armed forces.
