Manama: Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), received Katerina Varvarigou, the Ambassador-Designate of the Hellenic Republic to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting reviewed several topics, including Gulf-European relations and the bilateral ties between the GCC and the Hellenic Republic. They also explored means to strengthen and develop these links to serve mutual interests, while exchanging views on the latest regional and international developments.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions underscored the importance of maintaining strong diplomatic relations and highlighted the potential areas for cooperation between the GCC and the Hellenic Republic. Both parties expressed a commitment to enhancing their partnership in a manner that supports shared objectives and addresses common challenges.
