GCC Sec Gen Condemns Aggressive Iranian Drone Attack on UAE

Manama: Jasem Mohamed Al Budaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), condemned in the strongest terms the aggressive Iranian attack on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) using a drone, underscoring that this aggression constitutes a dangerous escalation, a flagrant violation of the sovereignty, security, and stability of the UAE, as well as a direct threat to the safety of its citizens and residents. According to Bahrain News Agency, the Secretary General underscored that the GCC member states stand united alongside the UAE in the face of anything that threatens its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

He stressed the necessity of an immediate cessation by Iran of these attacks and hostile acts, holding it fully responsible for their repercussions, which undermine the security and stability of the region.
