Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, received phone calls from several foreign ministers who expressed their solidarity with the Kingdom of Bahrain and condemned the Iranian missile attacks on the Kingdom. They also conveyed their wishes for Bahrain's continued security, stability, and peace.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Al Zayani was contacted by Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan; Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Khalilur Rahman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of Bangladesh; Dr. Johann Wadephul, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany; Anita Anand, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada; Tom Berendsen, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands; and Tanja Fajon, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.
The Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation to the ministers for their condemnation of the Iranian missile attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain, which targeted a number of sites, including civilian facilities and private property. He valued their expressions of solidarity and their support for the measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its security and stability, wishing their countries security, stability, and peace.
