Manama: During a significant diplomatic meeting, the Foreign Minister of Bahrain met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federative Republic of Brazil. The meeting focused on strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between the two nations and exploring ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Bahrain, the discussions included the latest regional developments and efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz to international navigation. Both sides emphasized the importance of promoting regional peace and security. The ministers also exchanged views on increasing diplomatic cooperation and coordination between Bahrain and Brazil in international forums, especially during Bahrain's non-permanent membership of the United Nations Security Council.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador Saeed Abdulkhaliq Saeed, who serves as the Chief of the Coordination and Follow-up Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
