Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met Faisal Mekdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to participate in the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025. The meeting focused on the longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Syrian Arab Republic, exploring ways to enhance bilateral cooperation to benefit both countries and their citizens.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions included a review of the latest regional and international developments. The ministers exchanged views on the Syrian government's efforts to boost security and stability, safeguard Syria's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, and support development initiatives aimed at fulfilling the aspirations of the Syrian people for peace, growth, and prosperity.
