Foreign Minister Meets Swiss Officials to Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Ambassador Monika Schmutz Kirg¶z, Head of the Middle East and North Africa Division at the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) State Secretariat, and Gabriel Lchinger, Head of the International Security Division at the FDFA State Secretariat.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting occurred during the officials' visit to the Kingdom to participate in the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025. The discussions centered on the robust relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Swiss Confederation and their mutual commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation to serve common interests.

Both parties exchanged views on regional and international developments, emphasizing ongoing efforts to resolve global conflicts through diplomatic dialogue. They also discussed ways to strengthen international peace, security, and stability.
