Foreign Minister Meets French Presidential Advisor for MENA

Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Anne-Claire, Advisor to the President of the French Republic for the Middle East and North Africa, on the occasion of her visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain to attend the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed the longstanding ties between Bahrain and France and its continued development across various domains. The discussions focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in key areas to serve mutual interests.

They also addressed current regional and international developments impacting regional security and stability, as well as ongoing efforts to achieve peace and security in the region. The Foreign Minister praised the active role played by France, in partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in organizing the international conference held in New York last September aimed at advancing a peaceful settlement of the Palestinian issue and implementing the two-state solution. Additionally, views were exchanged on several issues of common interest.
