Manama: Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Priti Patel, Shadow Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom; Lord Stuart Polak and Lord John Mendelsohn, members of the House of Lords; and several members of the UK Parliament, during their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain for the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on the longstanding ties between Bahrain and the UK, emphasizing the continued development of these relations at multiple levels. Both parties discussed ways to further enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest to fulfill shared goals.
The dialogue also involved exchanging views on the latest regional and international developments. Both sides highlighted the necessity of ongoing consultation and coordination to bolster efforts aimed at promoting security, stability, and lasting peace in the region, alongside addressing issues of common concern.
