Manama: The meeting reviewed the course of the distinguished friendship and strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, and the advanced level these relations have reached, along with the opportunities available to further develop them across a range of economic fields. The two sides also discussed ways to broaden the scope of joint cooperation in the areas of investment and development, and exchanged views on regional developments and their implications for regional security and stability, the global economy, and international trade, in light of the disruption to maritime navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, the Bab al-Mandab, and the Red Sea.According to Ministry of Foreign Affairs - Bahrain, the discussions highlighted the mutual interest in enhancing economic ties and exploring new avenues for investment. The dialogue underscored the significance of joint efforts in addressing the challenges posed by regional instability and its impact on global trade routes.
