First Deputy Speaker praises strong Bahraini-Egyptian relations

First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives MP Abdulnabi Salman Ahmed praised solid relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Egypt. He stressed strong fraternal relations between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdelfattah El-Sisi.

The First Deputy Speaker pointed out the unified vision of both countries regarding regional issues. He stressed common keenness to develop pan-Arab work, preserve security, stability, sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Arab countries and ensure a Middle East free of weapons of mass destruction.

MP Abdulnabi Salman Ahmed was speaking as he received in his office today Egyptian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Yasser Mohammed Shaban. They discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation and coordination mainly in the parliamentary field.

The First Deputy Speaker of the Council of Representatives described bilateral relations as a model to emulate, praising the Egyptian stances in supporting security and independence of the Kingdom of Bahrain as well as security and stability of the Arabian Gulf.

The Egyptian ambassador thanked MP Abdulnabi Salman Ahmed for the meeting, commending strong ties binding the two brotherly countries.
