Finance Minister Meets Russian Counterpart at SPIEF

Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, met Anton Siluanov, Russian Finance Minister, on the sidelines of the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2025. The minister highlighted the strong Bahraini-Russian relations, emphasising the importance of further advancing cooperation to meet shared goals and aspirations.According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to strengthen bilateral ties, particularly in the areas of economic and financial collaboration. The discussions aimed at exploring new avenues for partnership and reinforcing existing agreements to facilitate mutual growth and development.Both ministers expressed their satisfaction with the current state of relations and reiterated their countries' dedication to working together on international platforms.
