Manama: Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, convened a meeting with editors from local newspapers to discuss the recent decisions made by the Cabinet. The session, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, concentrated on executing initiatives designed to enhance public finances and maintain ongoing support for citizens.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa articulated that the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa prioritizes the Bahraini citizen as the focal point of comprehensive development efforts. He highlighted the directives of HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister to persistently advance social services for citizens, bolster supporting programmes, and utilize national resources to benefit the populace.
The Finance Minister reiterated that the Cabinet's initiatives are crucial for the sustained provision and advancement of social services and support programmes. These plans are aimed at maximizing the use of national resources for the benefit of citizens. Shaikh Salman underscored the importance of prioritizing Bahraini citizens in the access to services and ensuring the support is directed to those in need. He also praised the local newspapers for their integral role as partners in the nation's development under the leadership of His Majesty the King.
