Egyptian President Discusses Horn of Africa Developments with Djibouti Foreign Minister

Cairo: Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, met with Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, Djibouti Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, who is currently visiting Cairo.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation across all domains. The discussions aimed at exploring avenues for strengthening ties between Egypt and Djibouti, focusing on various sectors to bolster mutual interests and cooperation.



The meeting also discussed developments in the Horn of Africa, where efforts to restore security and stability in the region were reviewed. Both leaders exchanged views on ongoing regional challenges and deliberated on strategies to address them effectively, emphasizing the importance of collaboration to ensure peace and security.
