Cairo: Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs of Egypt, met Elmedin Konakovic, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the sidelines of the Union for the Mediterranean ministerial meeting. The discussion focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation, particularly in the domains of economy, trade, and tourism.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Abdelatty emphasized the significance of establishing a joint business council. The ministers also explored the potential for expanding collaboration in renewable energy, transport, agriculture, and education sectors.
In addition to economic topics, the talks also addressed regional developments, notably the situation in Gaza. The ministers discussed preparations for the upcoming international conference on Gaza reconstruction, underlining the importance of coordinated efforts in addressing the region's challenges.
