Manama: The Arab Republic of Egypt strongly condemned the missile attacks targeting the territory of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, reaffirming its full solidarity with Jordan and its support for the country in confronting any threats to its security, stability, sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to Bahrain News Agency, in a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt categorically rejected any escalatory actions that could broaden the conflict and jeopardise the security and stability of the region.
Egypt stressed the urgent need for an immediate cessation of the attacks, the exercise of restraint and the pursuit of diplomatic channels to prevent the region from descending into further escalation and instability.
