Egypt Condemns Iranian Missile and Drone Strikes on Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan

Cairo: The Arab Republic of Egypt has issued a strong condemnation of recent Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, the State of Kuwait, and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Egypt described these actions as a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the three Arab nations, marking a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and stability and endangers the safety of their citizens.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptian Expatriates released a statement expressing Egypt's full solidarity with Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jordan. The statement reaffirmed Egypt's categorical rejection of any attacks that undermine the security, sovereignty, or territorial integrity of these nations.

The Egyptian government emphasized that it has consistently warned of the consequences of renewed military operations, highlighting their serious repercussions for the security and safety of neighboring countries, as well as the freedom of international navigation, as reported by the Middle East News Agency (MENA).

Egypt further warned that the current trajectory of escalation could result in cycles of confrontation and instability, threatening both regional and international security. The statement urged an immediate cessation of military escalation, the exercise of utmost restraint, and adherence to the principles of international law and good-neighborliness, while respecting state sovereignty.

Additionally, Egypt reiterated its call for dialogue and diplomatic efforts to resolve disputes, emphasizing the importance of peaceful solutions to maintain stability and security in the region.
