Education Ministry and INJAZ Bahrain Forge Partnership to Enhance Student Skills

Manama: Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, and Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to deliver training programmes and workshops for school students aimed at developing leadership and entrepreneurship skills, and promoting a culture of volunteering, initiative, and teamwork.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Juma expressed pride at signing the MoU with INJAZ Bahrain, noting the significant shift the organization has achieved since its establishment in volunteer work, leadership skills development, and community initiatives through creative programmes and projects benefiting large numbers of students. He thanked HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa for her commitment to expanding the number of beneficiaries among school students and commended the strong partnership between the ministry and INJAZ Bahrain, which has produced positive results in enhancing students' academic and skills development.

For her part, HH Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa stated that the partnership with the ministry has resulted in numerous training opportunities and quality initiatives that have positively impacted students' skills and encouraged an environment of innovation and entrepreneurship. She emphasized that continued cooperation to expand participation in programmes delivered by INJAZ Bahrain, in partnership with the private sector, contributes to students' academic development and strengthens competitiveness among educational institutions.

The MoU aims to develop students' skills in entrepreneurship and prepare them for professional life while promoting values of work, productivity, initiative, and teamwork, and spreading a culture of volunteering and social responsibility. It also seeks to benefit from INJAZ Bahrain's expertise in designing and implementing training programmes.

The signing coincides with INJAZ Bahrain marking 20 years since its establishment, during which it has empowered tens of thousands of students and promoted a culture of entrepreneurship, innovation, and volunteering. This milestone reflects the organisation's continued commitment to its national mission and its role as a key partner in building a generation capable of meeting future challenges.
