Manama: The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA), organised an introductory session on the general framework for reviewing kindergarten performance. The session gathered 155 kindergarten representatives and officials from the ministry and authority, who received a detailed explanation of the framework’s areas and standards.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Sana Saeed Al Haddad, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Planning and Licensing at the Ministry of Education, highlighted the importance of the early education sector as the foundation of an integrated educational system. She noted that the framework would enhance the learning environment and improve childcare, benefiting the quality of education in kindergartens.
On her part, Esmat Jaffar Akbar, Deputy CEO of the BQA, highlighted that the framework represents a pivotal step in developing innovation in the education sector. She emphasised that it responds to the growing needs of early education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, aiming to ensure a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for children. She described it as a pioneering initiative in the region, based on international best practices in early education.
