Manama: Dr. Mohamed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Higher Education Council Board of Trustees, received Dr. Ramatulai Wurie, Minister of Technical and Higher Education of the Republic of Sierra Leone.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Juma reviewed the Kingdom of Bahrain's key education development projects. He outlined major milestones in the country's education history and highlighted achievements across various educational sectors, including early education, school education, higher education, curriculum development, digital infrastructure, digital empowerment, research and development, and international education indicators.
The Minister expressed his appreciation for Sierra Leone's interest in learning from Bahrain's education experience. He highlighted the progress in the sector supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and overseen by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
On her part, Dr. Wurie commended Bahrain's educational practices and emphasized her commitment to enhancing cooperation with the Kingdom in all areas of general, technical, and higher education.
