A batch of 41 students have graduated after completing the vocational training programmes “Cambridge International Certificate in Education and Teaching”.
The Arab Open University (AOU) Bahrain branch held the graduation ceremony under the patronage of the Minister of Education, Higher Education Council (HEC) Board of Trustees’ Chairman Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma.
The university hosted the graduation ceremony at its headquarters in the area of A’ali in cooperation with the US Embassy to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Addressing the ceremony, the minister hailed the university’s initiative to launch
vocational programme “Cambridge International Certificate in Education and Teaching” through its community centre, and in cooperation with its strategy partner the Cambridge International Education Foundation.
He stressed the ministy’s support to such programmes and initiatives that serve Bahraini students and provide them with rewarding opportunities and other educational pathways to build their professional careers.
AOU – Bahrain Branch president Dr. Gharmallah Abdullah Al-Ghamdi also addressed the graduation, praising fruitful cooperation which supports the labour market in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Dr. Al-Ghamdi also commended partnership between the Ministry of Education and the Arab Open University (AOU) Bahrain branch, hailing the minister’s keenness on promoting English language learning, along with other programmes.
