Manama: Crude rose more than $1 a barrel on Friday, posting its first weekly gain in three weeks. Brent crude futures settled at $66.47 a barrel, up $1.13, or 1.73%. U.S. West Texas Intermediate crude finished at $64.58, up $1.21 or 1.91%.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the increase marks a significant recovery in crude prices, which had been on a declining trend over the past three weeks. The rise in prices is seen as an indication of changing market dynamics and potential shifts in supply and demand. The gains in crude prices could have implications for global markets and economies that are heavily reliant on oil imports and exports.
