Crown Prince of Bahrain Engages with Malaysian King to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, met with His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia, today on the sidelines of the Royal Bahrain Concours at the Royal Golf Club. The meeting highlighted the ongoing enhancement of bilateral relations between Bahrain and Malaysia.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Prince Salman affirmed that the relationship between the two countries continues to strengthen across various sectors. This development is attributed to the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar. The Crown Prince acknowledged Malaysia's development and its standing on both the regional and global stages, emphasizing Bahrain's commitment to furthering the strategic foundations of their partnership to support shared goals for both nations.

The discussions also included reviews of the latest regional and international developments, focusing on issues of mutual interest and exploring ways to enhance cooperation that aligns with the aspirations of both countries and their citizens. A lunch banquet was held in honor of the Malaysian King and the accompanying delegation's state visit to Bahrain, with several senior officials also in attendance.
