Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister, convened with His Royal Highness Prince Turki Bin Faisal Bin Abdulaziz AI-Saud, Chairman of the King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies (KFCRIS), and numerous senior delegates from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab nations attending the 21st IISS Manama Dialogue 2025.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness emphasized Bahrain's commitment to enhancing joint Arab action under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The Crown Prince stated that such cooperation is essential for addressing regional and international developments and fulfilling the aspirations of Arab peoples for progress and prosperity.
His Royal Highness stressed the need to build upon past achievements to foster joint Arab action and improve coordination to support regional security, stability, and sustainable development. He emphasized the Council's pivotal role in safeguarding the region and promoting global economic growth.
The Crown Prince praised the collaborative efforts of allied nations to strengthen regional and international security and stability. He also highlighted the deep historical ties between Bahrain and Arab countries, rooted in shared history and values, and noted that Arab solidarity in addressing challenges reflects the strength of its institutional framework.
During the meeting, topics of mutual interest and issues related to the Manama Dialogue 2025 were discussed. Prince Turki Bin Faisal Bin Abdulaziz AI-Saud and the senior delegates expressed gratitude for the meeting and commended Bahrain's success in hosting this significant international security forum.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Lieutenant-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Commander of the Royal Guard, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, among other officials.
