Manama: His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with Her Excellency Shereen Shanika Dissanayake, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Gudaibiya Palace.
According to Bahrain News Agency, His Royal Highness emphasized the strong bilateral relations between Bahrain and Sri Lanka, noting the continuous growth of ties between the two nations. He highlighted the importance of further developing bilateral cooperation and coordination to achieve mutual goals and aspirations.
The meeting also included a discussion on current regional and international developments and issues of common interest. Her Excellency Dissanayake expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and conveyed her appreciation for his dedication to advancing Bahrain-Sri Lanka relations. She concluded by wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
The meeting was also attended by HE Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki, Minister of Cabinet Affairs.
