A'ali: The Ministry of Works announced the widening works of the Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway in the A'ali area, necessitating the closure of one lane and two lanes in stages for northbound traffic towards Manama. The closure is part of a project aimed at improving traffic flow and infrastructure in the region.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministry also announced a ban on traffic movement coming from Shaikh Zayed Highway and going to Shaikh Khalifa Bin Salman towards Manama. This traffic will be diverted to the Salmabad Bypass to accommodate the ongoing construction work. The closure will be effective during the weekend, beginning Friday, January 31 at 01:00 AM and concluding on Sunday, February 2 at 05:00 AM.
All road users are urged to observe and obey the traffic rules to ensure the safety of all individuals on the road. The Ministry of Works advises motorists to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid any inconvenience during the construction period.
