Manama: Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police, received Mohammed bin Issa Al Fairooz, President of the International Tent Pegging Federation (ITPF). Major General Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Police, and Brigadier Mohammed Abdullah Al Harram, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training, were also present during the meeting.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Chief of Police commended the federation's role in developing the sport at both the regional and international levels. He highlighted its efforts in organizing championships and raising professional standards in the field.
The meeting further reviewed areas of cooperation and coordination in organizing sporting events, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in promoting and advancing the sport.
