Chief of Police Discusses Security Coordination with Bapco Refining and Tazweed CEOs

Manama: Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police, held a meeting with Dr. Abdulrahman Jawaheri, CEO of Bapco Refining, and Basema Al Mahroos, CEO of Bapco Tazweed, to discuss enhancing security measures and coordination efforts. The meeting was attended by Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and Major General Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy Chief of Police.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Lt. Gen. Al Hassan emphasized the significance of evolving work mechanisms and bolstering joint coordination to support the security and safety framework. The goal is to achieve the highest levels of preparedness in safeguarding critical infrastructure.

The discussions included a review of the three-dimensional marine survey project currently being executed by Bapco Energies in Bahrain's territorial waters. This project is undertaken in collaboration with the Coast Guard Command, and the meeting explored various dimensions of the project, focusing on the coordination and cooperation required to implement it while adhering to top safety and security standards.

Dr. Jawaheri expressed appreciation for the Ministry of Interior's efforts in maintaining security and stability. He acknowledged their significant role in protecting vital facilities and reiterated the company's commitment to enhancing collaborative efforts in these areas.
