Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has reported that the latest issuance of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities has been significantly oversubscribed, with subscriptions reaching 264% of the offered amount.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the CBB received subscriptions totaling BD 132.209 million for the BD 50 million issuance. This particular series, identified as issue No.304 (BH00090V23W9), has a maturity period of 91 days. The expected return for this issuance, which commenced on August 12 and is set to mature on November 11, stands at 5.29%, a slight increase from the previous issue's 5.22% on July 8.
The Sukuk Al-Salam securities are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, highlighting continued investor confidence in the nation's Islamic finance offerings.
