Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has granted Mena Industrial Bank B.S.C. a Conventional Wholesale Bank license to operate in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Abdulla Haji, Director of Licensing Directorate at CBB, expressed satisfaction with the issuance of the new license, highlighting Bahrain's continued appeal as a financial hub for regional and international investments in the financial services sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the new bank will offer wholesale banking and trade finance solutions to corporations, government entities, and high-net-worth individuals both locally and regionally. The move underscores CBB's dedication to maintaining a strong financial regulatory framework aimed at supporting economic growth, financial stability, and innovation.
