Transportation and Telecommunications Minister receives stc Bahrain officials

Transportation and Telecommunications Minister Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed received stc Bahrain Chairman Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Haqbani and Chief Executive Officer Nezar Banabeela.

The meeting was also attended by Bahrain’s Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (RTA) Chairpersperson Mariam Ahmed Jama’an.

The minister praised the role of stc Bahrain, as well as its participation in investment projects in the sector of telecommunications and information technology in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

He stressed the ministry’s drive to expand cooperation in supporting the sector of telecommunications, wishing stc Bahrain further progress and continued success.

Al Haqbani stressed the company’s keenness on enhancing the sector of telecommunications in line with the 2030 Bahrain Economic Vision.

He valued the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, hailing Bahrain’s achievements and key projects.

The Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications forecasts hot weather today Friday, becoming humid at times with scattered clouds.

 

Wind: mainly variable from 5 to 10 knots, becoming northeasterly from 10 to 15 knots,  at times in the afternoon.

 

Temperatures: Maximum 44 ºC and minimum 30 ºC.

Humidity: Maximum 80% and minimum 15%.

Sea waves: 1 to 3 feet.

The Meteorological Directorate forecasts hot and rather humid weather at times

 

Wind: Variable 5 to 10 knots, but northeasterly, 12 to 17 knots at times during the afternoon.

 

Temperatures: Maximum 45 ºC and minimum 31 ºC.

 

Humidity: Maximum 85% and minimum 20%.

 

Sea waves: 1 to 2 feet inshore, 2 to 4 feet offshore.

Education Minister receives NCC CEO

Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi received the CEO of the National Communication Centre (NCC) Yousif Mohammed Al Binkhalil.

The meeting discussed ways to boost cooperation and coordination.

The minister gave a briefing on the most important achievements and projects implemented by the ministry within the government program to develop the educational system.

Al Binkhalil briefed the center’s efforts to serve the government media, as well as its most important initiatives.

HM King’s Media Affairs Adviser receives researcher

Advisor to His Majesty the King for Media Affairs Nabil bin Yacoob Al Hamer received researcher Latifa Al Murshed who presented him a copy of her doctoral thesis “The role of TV channels in political public opinion in GCC countries.”

The advisor praised the researcher’s efforts in advancing scientific research and wished her further success, noting the contributions of Bahrainis to the scientific and academic fields.

Al Murshed expressed her appreciation to the advisor for his support and encouragement to Bahraini researchers.
