BIBF and PwC Middle East Sign MoU to Boost Training and Development Collaboration

Manama: The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with PwC Middle East to enhance collaboration in the areas of professional training, capacity building, and knowledge sharing. This initiative supports Bahrain's Economic Vision 2030, which aims to develop a qualified national workforce capable of leading the future.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement was signed at the BIBF headquarters in Manama, with senior officials from both sides present. The MoU was signed by Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh, Chief Executive Officer of the BIBF, and Mohamed Al Mahroos, Bahrain Country Senior Partner at PwC Middle East.

The partnership aims to design and implement joint training programmes and workshops that respond to evolving labour market needs and align with modern business trends. Areas of cooperation include digital transformation, financial services, governance, risk and compliance, sustainability, and leadership development.

Dr. Ahmed Al Shaikh commented on the signing, stating that the partnership with PwC reflects a shared commitment to equipping national professionals with the knowledge and practical skills needed to succeed in a dynamic business environment. By integrating BIBF's academic and training expertise with PwC's global experience, the aim is to deliver educational solutions that drive national growth and competitiveness.

Mohamed Al Mahroos expressed pride in the strategic partnership with BIBF, highlighting its contribution to developing innovative training programmes that enhance professional excellence and support Bahrain's vision for sustainable economic growth.
