Manama: The General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) has reported the destruction of 75 missiles and 123 drones since the start of Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain. The air defence systems have been actively engaged in countering these aggressive acts, ensuring the safety of the nation.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the General Command has expressed pride in the combat readiness and vigilance of the BDF personnel. The continued operational effectiveness has instilled confidence in the protection of Bahrain’s airspace.

The BDF has advised citizens and residents to remain indoors unless absolutely necessary and to exercise caution for personal safety. They are advised to avoid affected areas, refrain from filming military operations or debris sites, and not spread unverified information. The public is encouraged to rely on official sources for updates and follow government media channels for alerts and warnings.

The General Command highlighted that the targeting of civilian infrastructure and private property with ballistic missiles and drones is a breach of international humanitarian law and the United Nations Charter. These attacks pose a threat to regional peace and security.
