Manama: The Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) will conduct the "National Shield 2026" drill from January 26-28, with the participation of the National Guard and the Ministry of Interior across multiple governorates of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the drill is part of the BDF's ongoing training programme aimed at enhancing combat and administrative readiness. It focuses on developing leadership and command-and-control capabilities and refining defence plans. Additionally, the exercise aims to strengthen coordination and integration with the National Guard and the Ministry of Interior.
