Manama: Yousif bin Abdulhussain Khalaf, Minister of Legal Affairs and Acting Minister of Labour, announced that Bahrain Ship Repairing and Engineering Company (BASREC) has added 32 job vacancies for Bahraini citizens to the National Employment Platform. This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to bolster employment opportunities for citizens in Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative aligns with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who aims to provide three job opportunities to every registered job seeker by the end of the year. This move is intended to support national employment efforts and contribute to sustainable economic growth within the kingdom.
The minister emphasized the importance of continued cooperation between the Ministry of Labour, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), and private sector institutions. This collaboration is crucial for expanding job listings, enhancing employment opportunities for citizens, and meeting the demands of the labour market.
