Bahrain’s Top Talents Display Prowess in Exciting Fourth Round of Rotax MAX Karting

Sakhir: The fourth round of the Bahrain Rotax MAX Challenge karting championship took place over the weekend at Bahrain International Circuit's karting track, showcasing strong participation across various categories.

According to Bahrain News Agency, outstanding performances were delivered by Enzo Younes in the Micro MAX category, Rayyan Najjar in the Mini MAX, Jude Andrews in the Junior MAX, Musaad Albassam in the Senior MAX, and Abdulla Sajjad in the DD2 MAX. Each of these participants claimed victory in their respective classes, demonstrating their skills and determination.

During the fourth round, which began last Friday, Enzo Younes dominated the Micro MAX sessions. He led the free practice, secured pole position in qualifying practice, won the pre-final, and went on to clinch victory in the nine-lap final with a total time of 9 minutes 22.575 seconds. He finished significantly ahead of second-placed Sami Albandak, while Rashid Almahroos joined them on the podium.

In the Mini MAX category, Hassan Baqer initially topped qualifying practice, but Rayyan Najjar won the pre-final and maintained his advantage in the nine-lap final, taking first place with a narrow margin over Faisal Alnajjar. Rhys Daulat secured the third position in this competitive category.

The Junior MAX category saw a fierce contest with Jude Andrews emerging victorious. Although Shaikh Ahmed bin Saqer Al Khalifa initially led the category in qualifying practice and regained the lead in the pre-final, he ultimately lost out due to a penalty, allowing Jude to claim the win.

The Senior MAX category featured the largest grid of the championship with 18 drivers. Musaad Albassam showcased a strong performance, winning the pre-final and the 15-lap final from pole position, finishing ahead of Luca Houghton and Yousif Alaali.

In the DD2 MAX category, Abdulla Sajjad recorded a victory in the 15-lap final, finishing ahead of Abdulqader Qasem and Rakan Alfayez, who completed the top three positions.

The Bahrain Rotax MAX Challenge, which consists of eight rounds in the 2025/2026 season, will continue with round five scheduled for 30 January, followed by round six on 13 February. The championship finale is set for 18 April.
