Bahrain’s Crown Prince Chairs Weekly Cabinet Meeting and Engages with Key Officials

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today focused on events that happened over the past 24 hours. The meeting was chaired by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, who not only led the weekly Cabinet meeting but also engaged in discussions with other prominent officials, including the Speaker of the Council of Representatives and the Chairman of the Shura Council.

According to Bahrain News Agency, His Majesty King Hamad sent a written message to the Amir of Kuwait, reflecting ongoing diplomatic engagement between the two nations. Additionally, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad highlighted the 'Gadeha' Programme, emphasizing the spirit and determination of Bahraini youth. In further diplomatic efforts, Shaikh Nasser also received a delegation from the US Congress.

In sporting news, His Highness Khalid bin Hamad has directed the organization of the 2026 World's Strongest Man Competition, set to take place in April. The Foreign Minister of Bahrain led the country's delegation at the second Bahrain-UK strategic dialogue and held discussions with the UK Minister of State for MENA, Afghanistan, and Pakistan.

In educational initiatives, the Municipalities Minister and Education Minister jointly inaugurated the first Student Agricultural Innovations Exhibition 2025. The National Cyber Security Team launched the First Youth Cybersecurity Forum, aiming to engage young minds in cybersecurity challenges. Meanwhile, the Deputy Interior Minister led Bahrain's delegation at the 93rd INTERPOL General Assembly, underscoring Bahrain's commitment to international law enforcement collaboration.
