Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,030.34 points, marking a decrease of 7.19 points below the previous closing. This decline was primarily attributed to a drop in the communication service sector and the financial sector.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a decrease, closing at 996.68 points, which is 1.46 points lower than the previous closing. The trading session reported 110 equity transactions, with a trading volume of 7,424,782 and a total value of BD 2,119,320.
Investors focused their trading activities mainly in the financial sector, which accounted for 49.46% of the total value of securities traded.
