Manama: Bahrain Marina Development Company (BMDC) has signed an agreement with Nass Contracting Company to develop the beachfront facilities within the Bahrain Marina project, a leading waterfront development in the heart of Manama.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the agreement was signed by Hisham Al Moayyed, Acting Chief Executive Officer of BMDC, and Mazen Mattar, Chief Executive Officer of Nass Corporation, during the Gateway Gulf Investment Forum, organized by the Bahrain Economic Development Board at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain Bay.
Under the agreement, Nass Contracting Company will handle the development of beach facilities spanning over 8,000 square metres. The works include the design and construction of modern facilities that align with the project's vision to provide a marine experience. Key features of the project include a 130-metre beach, a 400-square-metre family pool with a panoramic sea view exceeding 40 metres, a children's pool with a water play area, shaded cabanas, water sports facilities, landscaped areas, and supporting amenities, creating a family leisure destination built to international standards.
Hisham Al Moayyed commented on the agreement, stating that it marks a milestone in the development of Bahrain Marina. The aim is to deliver beachfront facilities offering residents and visitors an experience combining luxury, leisure, and natural beauty. He emphasized that Nass Contracting Company was chosen for its track record and experience in executing major projects in Bahrain.
Mazen Mattar expressed pride in partnering with BMDC to deliver a component of the project. He noted that the construction level reflects a commitment to upholding standards of quality and precision set by Bahrain Marina, ensuring a timely completion befitting the development's stature.
Bahrain Marina is a prominent real estate and tourism project in the Kingdom, aiming to create a marine destination with luxury residential facilities, commercial and entertainment outlets, a marine club, a marina for yachts and boats, and a selection of hotels and resorts. The project supports the development of Bahrain's tourism and real estate sectors, enhancing the Kingdom's position as an investment and tourism hub in the region.
