Manama: Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is set to host an exciting array of motorsport events on April 24 and 25, featuring National Race Day (NRD), Track Experiences, and Open Track Night. The action-packed weekend promises thrilling experiences for both participants and spectators.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the events will kick off on Friday with National Race Day, showcasing round six of the Bahrain Touring Car Challenge (BTCC) and round four of the Bahrain Motorcycle Championship (BMC). The races will take place from 4pm to 10:30pm on the Inner Track. The BTCC standings are currently led by Ali Almansoori with 200 points, while Ahmed Banjaid holds second place with 133 points, followed by James Taylor with 115 points.
BIC has extended an invitation to spectators to witness the excitement from the Beyon Grandstand, which provides views of significant sections of the circuit, including the start and finish line. The grandstand offers a prime location to catch all the racing action.
On Saturday, the activities continue with Track Experiences from 8am to 3pm on the Inner Track. Participants will have the opportunity to drive performance vehicles under professional supervision, with experiences available in the Renault Clio Cup, Radical SR1, and Radical SR3.
The weekend concludes with Open Track Night on Saturday from 6pm to 9pm. This event allows participants to drive their own cars and motorbikes on the Grand Prix track, offering a controlled environment that emphasizes safe driving. The BIC aims to provide a memorable and exhilarating experience for all motorsport enthusiasts.
