Bahrain Focuses on Royal Engagements and Government Initiatives

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today centered their coverage on significant events and engagements over the past 24 hours.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King ratified and issued Law (10) of 2025, marking an important legislative milestone for the Kingdom. Additionally, HM King was engaged in several meetings and received various dignitaries, including HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad and officials from the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, Dr. Shaikh Mohammed Taher bin Shaikh Sulaiman Al Madani, and members of the Al Sayegh family. Furthermore, HM King received letters from the Palestinian President and the Grand Imam of Al Azhar, and was thanked by the Indian President for his contributions.

Meanwhile, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister chaired the weekly Cabinet Meeting and visited several Ramadan majlises across the Kingdom, reinforcing the importance of community engagement during the holy month. In international relations, the Commander-in-Chief received the Saudi Ambassador, highlighting ongoin
g diplomatic ties.

The cultural and educational domain was also in focus as the HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa Quran Award concluded, celebrating achievements in religious studies. On the international stage, the Director General of Criminal Investigation participated in the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs, reflecting Bahrain’s commitment to global cooperation in combating drug-related issues.

In governmental services, the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) launched new services through the MyGov platform, while the General Directorate of Traffic also expanded its services on the ‘MyGov’ app, enhancing accessibility for citizens. Additionally, the CEO of Government Hospitals met with the CEO of BisB, indicating collaborative efforts in the health sector.
