Cairo: Yousif Mohammed Al Binkhalil, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, participated in the 103rd regular session of the Permanent Committee for Arab Media. Al Binkhalil praised the Committee's efforts in enhancing joint Arab media work and adopting initiatives to support sustainable development in the Arab region.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Binkhalil emphasized that under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Bahrain is committed to advancing Arab cooperation across various sectors. He highlighted the crucial role of media in promoting regional awareness, security, stability, and sustainable prosperity.
Al Binkhalil reaffirmed Bahrain's dedication to participating actively in joint Arab media meetings and forums. These engagements aim to explore best practices for advancing Arab media in line with public expectations and global media developments, including advancements in digital media and artificial intelligence technologies.
He also acknowledged the efforts of Arab states in unifying visions, objectives, and strategies to develop a professional and purposeful Arab media. He stressed the importance of monitoring the progress of recommendations and resolutions from the 102nd session hosted by the United Arab Emirates.
Furthermore, Al Binkhalil expressed gratitude to the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Arab League Secretariat - Media and Communication Sector, and the Technical Secretariat of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information for organizing the session. He also noted their support for the upcoming meetings of the 21st regular session of the Executive Office and the 55th regular session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Information.
