Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has expressed strong condemnation of the armed terrorist attack on the French contingent of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) in southern Lebanon. The incident resulted in the death of a French soldier and injuries to others. Bahrain labeled this attack as a clear violation of international law.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain issued a statement affirming its solidarity with Lebanon. The Kingdom supports Lebanon's efforts to hold those responsible for the attack accountable and to ensure the nation's security and stability.
The Ministry also highlighted Bahrain's appreciation for UNIFIL's efforts and its crucial role in maintaining peace and supporting stability in Lebanon. Additionally, the Kingdom extended condolences and sympathy to the Government and people of France, wishing a speedy recovery to the injured.
