Manama:The High Criminal Court has sentenced three individuals to life imprisonment for their involvement in a terrorist group that aimed to conduct hostile acts against the Kingdom of Bahrain. Following the investigation's findings, the Public Prosecution referred the case to the High Criminal Court. Throughout the trial, all legal safeguards were upheld, including the presence of defense counsel and the opportunity for the defendants to present their case. The court reached its verdict after several hearings.
The Public Prosecution has reaffirmed its commitment to combatting crimes associated with terrorist groups and to taking all necessary legal actions against individuals proven to be involved with such groups, thereby safeguarding the Kingdom's security and interests.
