Bahrain condemns terrorist Houthi militias’ attacks on Yemeni city of Ma’rib

The Kingdom of Bahrain condemned the continuous attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia on the Yemeni city of Ma’rib, targeting camps for internally displaced persons, residential neighborhoods and civilians. It described the assaults as a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and all values and ethical principles.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed solidarity and support of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Yemen, stressing that these sinful attacks committed by the Houthi militia reflect its rejection of all calls for peace and to end the war. It also described the attacks as a continued military escalation to destabilize security and stability in Yemen.

The ministry further called upon the international community to condemn the Houthi attacks and crimes and work to compel the Houthis to accept the resumption of political negotiations to reach a political solution that meets the aspirations of the brotherly Yemeni people for peace, security and stability.
