Manama: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Bahrain's condemnation and denunciation of the renewed Iranian attacks that violated the airspace of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with ballistic missiles. This act is seen as a violation of Jordan's sovereignty and a threat to regional security and stability, contravening international law, the United Nations Charter, Security Council Resolution No. (2817), and principles of good neighborliness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ministry affirmed Bahrain's solidarity with Jordan and its support for the measures Jordan is taking to preserve its security and sovereignty. The ministry commended the efforts of the Jordanian Armed Forces in intercepting the missiles and confronting the attacks.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated Bahrain's call to the UN Security Council to take urgent measures to compel Iran to comply with international law and the UN Charter, cease aggressive actions, and respect freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and other waterways. This call aims to reduce escalation and tension while maintaining regional security and peace.
