Bahrain Condemns Iranian Ballistic Missile Attacks on Jordan

Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has issued a strong condemnation of the ongoing Iranian attacks on the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. These attacks, which include the launch of ballistic missiles, are described as a blatant violation of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and UN Security Council Resolution 2817. They are also viewed as a significant threat to the security and stability of the region.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain expressed its full solidarity with Jordan and affirmed its support for any measures Jordan takes to protect its sovereignty, security, and stability, as well as the safety of its citizens and residents. The Ministry praised the Jordanian Armed Forces for their vigilance, noting that their air defense system successfully intercepted the missiles and prevented the attacks from causing harm.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also reiterated its call for the UN Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities and take decisive action to compel Iran to stop its hostile activities against regional countries. This, the Ministry emphasized, is essential for de-escalating tensions and ensuring the security and peace of the region.
