Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain has expressed its appreciation for the United States' initiatives, led by President Donald Trump, aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that these efforts are based on diplomatic, security, and humanitarian principles. The objective is to promote peace and stability, encourage mutual understanding, support economic cooperation, and prevent the spread of nuclear weapons.
The Ministry highlighted that this initiative represents a significant diplomatic effort toward achieving a lasting ceasefire and reinforcing stability across the European continent.
Bahrain reaffirmed its commitment to supporting regional and international efforts to resolve conflicts through dialogue and negotiation. It emphasized the importance of mitigating humanitarian impacts and advancing security and sustainable peace, aligning with international law and the United Nations Charter.
