According to Bahrain News Agency, Bahrain and the United States have signed a joint statement on an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Opportunities Partnership. This agreement underscores the growing collaboration between the two nations in the field of technology and innovation. The partnership aims to explore and harness AI capabilities to drive economic growth and enhance bilateral ties.
In another significant development, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad met with the US Secretary of Energy to discuss mutual interests and cooperation in energy sectors. Additionally, HH Shaikh Nasser held discussions with the Chairman of the US House of Representatives Armed Services Committee and the US Under Secretary of War for Policy, highlighting Bahrain's commitment to strengthening defense and policy coordination with the United States.
Bahrain also extended condolences to Venezuela over the recent earthquake victims, showcasing its solidarity and support to the affected nation. Meanwhile, in Cyprus, the Cypriot President received the Chairman of the King Hamad Global Center for Coexistence and Tolerance (KHGC), who also met with the Archbishop of Nova Justiniana and All Cyprus, emphasizing Bahrain's efforts in promoting coexistence and tolerance.
Further, the King Hamad Global Center's Chairman held a meeting with the Cypriot Foreign Minister in Nicosia, reflecting Bahrain's diplomatic engagements with Cyprus.
